About Voxov

Lighting that carries the truth of how it was made

Voxov Design builds lamps layer by layer. Each product is built layer by layer, and those layers remain visible in the finished piece. Not as a flaw to be sanded away, but as an honest expression of process. Designed and made in Sweden, the result is lighting that feels considered, textural, and intentional.

Studio

The process

Built over hours, one layer at a time

Step 01

01

Digital form

Every lamp begins as a three-dimensional model, shaped and refined on screen until the proportions feel right. This is where the silhouette is born.

Step 02

02

Layer by layer

The form is built in thin horizontal layers over several hours, and each layer becomes a permanent part of the surface.

Step 03

03

Finished with care

Hardware is assembled by hand. Every piece is inspected, tested, and packaged individually. The lamp that arrives is the lamp that was made for you.

"Most manufacturers try to eliminate layer lines. Voxov chose to make them the defining feature."

The founder

Founder and designer

Voxov began with a small workshop in Sweden and a stubborn belief that the way an object is made should be visible in the object itself. The first lamp was a study in patience: hours of layering, no sanding, no hiding.

Today the work is the same, only the catalogue has grown. Every piece is still considered, made to order, and shipped in its honest finish.
